Daddy brought us to chinese restaurant at amk hub. i tink this is only my second time eating at a chinese rest. first is crystal jade. and this time, it was DIAN XIAO ER. I gotta comment. chinese rest isnt tt bad. i tink the name sounds damn cute.

For the benefit of ppl whose mandrain sucked, waiter was known as 'xiao er' in the olden days. u noe. those shows which portrayed the Tang dynasty or wadeva, where chinese men fought with well known martial arts and their ever speedy 'pigtails'. LOL. den they will bring buns (man tou) along, which was kept in their large robes somewhr under their arm pit, when off to some faraway land. HAHAHHAA. downright amusing. seriously, how did ppl survived on those buns kept under their armpits?
Nonetheless, yes, its that kinda shop. Even the settings in the house itself uses red lanterns, wooden tables and chopsticks. The menu is even cuter! its almost like wad the shows showed. and gladly, the food was terrific! Others aside, just the duck was beyond words. Initially i protested to order tt, cos i hate herbs. it stinks. but majority wins. so, i figured i should jus shut my mouth. furthermore, i aint paying. =D
still, when the dish arrived, its was pretty much appealing to me. Soaked with some herbs and sauce combi, i gotta admit that though the herbs are slightly strong smelling, it doesnt taste as bad as i tot it would. Instead, it gave a refreshing feeling to the whole taste. i had one after another. =DD
To have a person who hates herbs to the core to change her opinion, i tink its a rather good achievement. hahhaa. waoh. typing this makes me drool. =x too bad i forgot to take a photo of it.
i say people, u all should try the duck. cost abt 21 for half a duck. BUT i tink its worth the price. Plus, its fast. we only waited for like 20mins?
So..the next time yr family want some chinese rest, suggest DIAN XIAO ER! =D
