Being fixed at home recently makes me realise how much time i dun spend with my parents. Tuesday is off day for daddy and mummy happens to get her off today as well. so being a filial daughter, I woke up at 7am and followed them ard. well. no regrets. cos im finally able to get outta hse after so long. anyway, went to the new tiong baruh market for their famous "chui kueh" ehh its damn cheap ok. 4for$1 and the serving aint small. Comparing to the ones at the market near my place, its 4for$1 for some $#%^$%$# lousy taste. No wonder there are secret recipes.
Den, saw this shop where the uncle grind the coffee beans on the spot for the customers. the are selling for like 1kg $7 for the cheapest. and the most expensive ones goes up to 1kg$13! wow. its like twice the amt. Check out the machine.
super antique. i can imagine all e way back into the 80s. din noe there are still people doing them manually today. I tot all are mass produced in the fac. hahaha. im a bloody cavewoman.
